“Please Bear With Me”

I know that content here at The Next Tee has been erratic and inconsistent for the last couple of years.

The amputations in 2023. The truth is, I went septic, contracted MRSA, and nearly died from it. Damn, that was awful.

2024 arrived, and everything was great. The amputations finally healed. I was back testing and reevaluating clubs. Back on the range and loving every minute of it. God, I love this game. But sometimes life can be cruel.

A diabetic foot ulcer, this time on my left foot, reared its ugly head. My season would be put on hold. Then, renal issues in early August. Stones that required surgery to be removed. Again, I went septic. Then the coup de gras happened.

August 26th.  I had my second stroke. This is what really prompted me to record this vlog. This one affected me differently than the stroke in 2018. It really zapped my brain, causing significant speech issues and word loss. I go to speech therapy now, every Friday.

I finally decided to start doing reviews again by video in particular as a way to work on what I’ve been doing with my speech therapist Julia.

I may lose words and stutter. I might sound robotic, monotone, and dumb. So, please bear with me.
